Tolu Minerals (ASX: TOK) is restarting the Tolukuma gold-silver mine in Papua New Guinea, a fully permitted, high-grade mine that produced around 1 million ounces at 14 g/t recovered grade, with only 1.2 km of an 8 km mineralised system mined. Four months of 2026 drilling grew the Tolukuma resource 81% to 909,000 oz, lifting reported gold resources above 1 million ounces. Tolu is targeting an early 2027 production restart, a 2 to 3 million ounce resource within the mining lease, and district-scale discovery across 1,000 km² of surrounding tenure.
