Silver Mines Limited (ASX: SVL) is a Sydney-based Australian silver exploration and development company, incorporated in 2004. Its 100%-owned Bowdens Silver Project near Mudgee, NSW, is the largest undeveloped silver deposit in Australia. A recently completed Definitive Feasibility Study confirmed a robust two-stage, 26-year mine plan, with reserves lifted 30% to 93.5 million ounces of silver, a pre-tax NPV of A$1.04 billion (using $45/oz), and initial capital costs of A$455 million. Permitting is expected to be finalised shortly. The Company has also diversified into California's Mojave Desert, acquiring the Calico North silver-barite project and an earn-in interest of up to 80% in the Kramer Hills gold project, both in San Bernardino County, with exploration and drilling underway.
