Company profile

Northfield Capital Corporation (TSX.V:NFD.A) is a publicly traded Canadian investment company founded in 1981 by Robert D. Cudney, with over four decades of experience in resource-sector capital formation, exploration, and development. Northfield holds a significant ownership position in Juno Corp., the largest mineral claimholder and most active explorer in Ontario's Ring of Fire — one of Canada's most important emerging mineral districts.

Juno's flagship Big Thunder Gold District, discovered in 2024, encompasses an extensive Archean greenstone gold system spanning hundreds of kilometres of largely unexplored terrain. High-grade drill results include 78.9 g/t Au over 3.9m at the Pluto target and multiple high-grade intercepts at North Edge, confirming a robust multi-structure gold system with significant district-scale potential.

In March 2026, Juno commenced the largest drilling campaign in the Ring of Fire in over a decade: a fully funded, C$20 million program dedicated to advancing Big Thunder gold targets and the Vespa critical minerals discovery (V-Ti-Fe-Sc-Ga), where a maiden mineral resource estimate is targeted.

Ring of Fire infrastructure is advancing rapidly: the Webequie Supply Road and Marten Falls Community Access Road are progressing with First Nations community partnership agreements in place, Ontario has designated the 230 km Greenstone Transmission Line as a priority project, and a federal-provincial Cooperation Agreement has committed to completing environmental reviews for road infrastructure by June 2026.

With 5,796 km² of mineral claims — over 52% of the Ring of Fire district — Juno represents one of the most significant early-stage exploration platforms in Canada. Northfield brings institutional discipline to capital allocation across its diversified portfolio, which also includes charter aviation and premium beverage operations.
