Compañía de Minas Buenaventura is the largest Peruvian, publicly traded precious metals company and base metals. The Company is engaged in the exploration, development mining, processing and trading of gold, silver, copper and other metals through wholly owned mines as well as through its participation in joint exploration projects.
Buenaventura currently operates the following units in Peru: Tambomayo, Orcopampa, Uchucchacua, Julcani, El Brocal, La Zanja, San Gabriel and Coimolache.
Also, the Company owns 19.58% in Sociedad Minera Cerro Verde.
