Denver Gold Grouppresents

Mining's independentinvestment forumcomes to Sydney.

The first Mining Forum Australia. Three days of unmediated 1x1 Meetings, management presentations and networking that bring mining companies together with the institutional investors who back them. Built by the team behind the world's leading events that match global capital with global mining. Invitation-only, not-for-profit and free of conflicts of interest. No bank owns the agenda. No broker owns the room.

1st Annual Mining Forum Australia 2027
26–28 October 2027Hilton Sydney

Why Australia. Why now.

Australian mining has a new meeting place.

Australian producers and developers have become a fixture of Mining Forum Americas and Mining Forum Europe, the mining investment forums that Denver Gold Group has run for decades. The investors who meet them there asked for the same forum closer to the companies. This is it.

Australia's miners found the Mining Forums first

ASX-listed producers and developers have taken up the Mining Forums in Zürich and Colorado Springs in remarkable numbers, a measure of how accomplished the country's mining sector has become. Australian capital markets are now financing projects around the world, and offshore companies are following that capital to Australia. Sydney brings both together.

Sydney is where the capital sits

The ASX, Martin Place and the major banks and buy-side offices are all a short walk from the Hilton. Investors can join for a session, a day or the full programme, and Melbourne's deep buy-side is a short flight away.

A gap in the calendar

Late October sits clear of Diggers & Dealers, the northern-hemisphere conference cluster and the ASX blackout. It is the right week for an institutional grade mining investment event on Australia's East Coast.

Already in the room

Australia is already a fixture of the Mining Forums.

Of the 217 companies in Denver Gold Group membership today, these are the ones listed on the ASX, operating in Australia, or both. Many have presented in Colorado Springs or Zürich. Sydney brings the programme to them.

Independent by design

No conflicts. Just the meeting.

Denver Gold Group is a not-for-profit industry association. It does not underwrite, broker, trade or publish research. The only thing it sells is a seat in the room, and the only thing it optimises is the quality of the meetings and the overall experience with the highest production values in the industry.

  • Companies present on merit. Participation is open to qualifying mining companies, whatever they mine. There is no banking relationship to earn a slot.
  • Investors choose their meetings. Institutional investors request the companies they want to see. The schedule is built from their choices.
  • The organiser has no position. DGG holds no stock, takes no fees on transactions and owes nothing to any sponsor's deal flow.
  • The same rules on three continents. The format that has run in the Americas since 1989 and in Europe comes to Sydney unchanged.

Driven by 1x1 Meetings

Presentations open the door. 1x1 Meetings close the distance.

Every DGG forum runs on private meetings between C-Suite representatives from leading mining companies and qualified institutional investors complemented by family offices and high net worth individuals. Unlike nearly every other investment conference, those meetings are multilateral, unlimited and unmediated. That is how the leading mining investment forums in the world are built, and Sydney will be built the same way.

Multilateral

Any participant can request any other. Investors meet companies, companies meet investors, and both meet the sell-side. Nobody is confined to one bank's client list.

Unlimited

There is no cap on requests and no cap on meetings. The schedule fills as far as diaries allow, across every session, meal and break.

Unmediated

No banker in the room and no organiser choosing who meets whom. Requests go straight from one side to the other, and the answer comes straight back.

01

Investors request

Qualified institutional investors browse participating companies and request the meetings they want, ranked by priority.

02

Companies accept

Management teams review requests and accept. Both sides see who they are meeting before they board a plane.

03

The system schedules

DGG's own event management system resolves every request into a conflict-free timetable around presentations, meals and travel.

04

Meet, then follow up

Presentations are webcast and archived. Contact details, attendance and meeting records are in every delegate's hands when they leave.

The format

Tuesday to Thursday lunch.
